Project reflection
The disorder that I got to research is called intermittent explosive disorder. I think that this disorder is a very interesting one. I think that because of how the people who have it think. When you have this disorder you have a tension inside of you that rises whenever you feel angry or frustrated. when the tension gets released they explode into anger and have no control over what they are doing. After the explosion they begin to feel guilty for what they have done. For the exhibition I had the people who came to my booth take a blank piece of paper and crumpling it up until you feel that it is enough. After that they can crumple it and draw over the lines that they want and color it in in the way that they want.
From this project I learned that not everyone is the same. Also that people can have something wrong with them and others or even them may not even know that there is something wrong. Finally what I learned is that there are many things that can go along with one disorder. For example you can have IED and also have Bipolar disorder.
I felt like my exhibition could have been better. I feel that way because nobody did get my folder. Also only one person did my activity. Another reason why I think that it could of been better is because the activity that I was doing is for people who are angry all the time and my disorder didn't have anything that applied to it in art therapy.
Here is a photo of a art piece that someone made during the exhibition:
